Our Founder

During the 1970s while the concept of intellectual property rights was still extremely new in the business context of Malaysia, Mr S.C. Wong saw the future for intellectual property, that it would gain significance within the next decade. With the help of a few of his associates, he formed a company which would later be known as WPC Intellectual Property Sdn Bhd. Mr S.C. Wong spent years in promoting the concept of intellectual property as being as significant as a tangible possession. The firm had soon experienced strong growth throughout the 1980s and becoming what it is today.

As an individual, Mr S.C. Wong was a kind, though strict and disciplined leader. He had always insisted upon the highest standards of professionalism among his employees. Often regarded as a father figure, he was charismatic and highly respected. He was a philanthropist and had placed tremendous effort on charitable work and the helping out those in needs. The legacy of his compassion and kindness remains today.
